 Staging & Structure Head of Department

IPS are looking for a the right individual to take responsability for the daily running of our Staging and Structure department. Leading our warehouse staging team, and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the main requirements of the role are as follows:

  • Must have excellent attention to detail, and organisational skills, and be able to manage paperwork and keep work areas tidy and assist with management of hardware
  • Must be able to effectively motivate and manage a small team working safely to tight timeframes
  • Must be physically fit, and able to perform manual tasks – specifically loading and unloading vehicles and moving equipment around our warehouse
  • Must have previous structure and staging experience
  • Forklift Licence would be desirable but not essential

Hire Co-Ordinator

Due to an internal promotion, IPS are looking for a Hire Co-ordinator to join our team. The role will be based from our Milton Keynes offices and would suit an applicant with good administration skills, and a keen interest in technical production and customer service. The main requirements of the role are as follows:

  • Must have a basic knowlege including Staging, Rigging, Lighting, Video, Sound & Power disiplines
  • Must have excellent written and phone based communication skills, and be able to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Must be able to work to exacting requirements, meeting customer deadlines whilst working with resources avaliable
  • Must have excellent MS Office skills, along with an ideally an understanding of Rentaldesk/Hire Track rental software

 

Warehouse Lighting Technician
IPS are looking for a warehouse based technician to assist with looking after our Lighting equipment. Based on a 45 hour week with the possibiilty of overtime, the role will report to the Head of Lighting, the main requirements of the role are as follows:

  • Must have an understanding of generic and intelligent lighting equipment, especially items within the IPS rental inventory
  • Must be able to assist with the inspection, configuration and preparation of a range of equipment within appropriate timeframes
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, and organisational skills, and be able to manage paperwork and keep work areas tidy and assist with management of hardware
  • Must be physically fit, and able to perform manual tasks – specifically loading and unloading vehicles and moving equipment around our warehouse
  • Must have previous experience of a similar or related role within the industry – ideal for someone wanting to specialise within the lighting area

 

Warehouse General Technician
IPS are looking for a warehouse based technician to work with the full range of the IPS equipment inventory. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the main requirements of the role are as follows:

  • Must be physically fit, and able to perform manual tasks – specifically loading and unloading vehicles and preparing and moving equipment around our warehouse
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, and organisational skills, and be able to manage paperwork and keep work areas tidy and assist with all elements of the operation
  • Must be able to demonstrate awareness of all the equipment types stocked by IPS – experience from an equivalent role would be desirable
  • Working hours would be based on 45 hours per week with the possibilty of weekend onsite work
  • Must have a flexible approach to work, and able to adapt to the changing requirements of the business
  • Forklift Licence  would be desirable but not essential
  • Would be an ideal position for someone with a basic knowledge of the industry looking to increase their knowledge
